Larry Schur, CEM
Larry Schur has dedicated his life to the juvenile products industry, a carreer which spans over 40 years.
As the infant and toddler buyer for the 45-unit Goldblatt Brothers department store chain for 8 years, Larry rapidly turned the department into one of the most profitable in the company and developed and trademarked its first private label disposable diaper brand for the chain. As Director of Marketing for Gerber® Products Company / Gerber® Childrenswear for 8 more years, Larry was instrumental in the development of many new and innovative products both in the Gerber Division as well as the Apparel Division.
During his 5 years as Director of Marketing for Simmons, Larry put the company on the map with the initiation of a completely new and profitable bedding line. For 11 years, Larry was the Executive Director for the juvenile product industries retail trade group, NINFRA. There he provided the group with profitable buying opportunities as well as key initiatives in the areas of product development, communications, product and sales training and the launch of annual trade shows.
The position at NINFRA catapulted Larry into his current position as President of All Baby & Child, the producer of the ABC Kids Expo, Spring Educational Conference & Trade show and partnerships with organizers in key international destinations. The ABC Kids Expo is currently in its 14th year, having received numerous recognition and awards for growth and other achievements from IAEE, Trade Show Week, Trade Show Executive, Trade Show News Network, and others. Larry has also received the Expo Groups Show Manager of the Year award.
Larry earned both his Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
